Kawasaki ZRX1200R DAEG
I love the Kawasaki ZRX1200R model. I own one - last year of production: 2006, in the only colour available that year - brilliant Kawasaki Green. It is a very universal machine. It does the job as a daily ride, puts a smile on my face with its engine characteristics. And while having only a mini fairing - it's quite capable at long-distance touring (as it proved two weeks ago during my 8-day trip to Romania - I only put a taller windscreen on it). And on top of the above - it's a proper retro muscle bike, that has tons of vintage vibe to it. Read the full article
Top 5 Suzuki Katana custom builds
I'm pretty hyped recently. I feel like a kid that's just got a new toy. A toy he's been wishing for many months. And the dream just came through. I bought a 1993 Suzuki GSX-F 1100. A very neglected bike, that's been through a lot... but with an excellent and lively engine. And the engine is what I'm after. I will put it in my Katana build. Let's call it stage 2... I'm pretty hyped about this! Therefore I was motivated to search for the original Suzuki Katana builds to make sure the engine will fit nicely. So here it is - a Top 5 Katana custom builds list. They're not at all a standard custom builds. Katana is so characteristic that it just doesn't inspire to create "another" cafe racer. It is iconic enough to get the interest even from Team Classic Suzuki or other restomodding pros. Read the full article
Top 5 Kawasaki Zephyr Cafe Racers
Kawasaki Zephyr is an underappreciated classic (at least in some regions of the world). It looks nice. It is a proper tribute to a legendary Kawasaki Z1. Every single version is an inline four, air-cooled, twin cam. They even released a couple of series with spoked wheels. When it arrived in the early 90's, it restarted the retro boom in the UK. The sales numbers were spectacular. So it is about time to make a Top 5 post... inspired by Kawasaki Zephyr based builds. There were four versions of Kawasaki Zephyr - 400, 550, 750 and 1100. They differed by not only engines but also styling details (mainly the tank shape) - all stayed true to the classic Kawasaki lines. Coincidentally - all the bikes listed below are based on the 750 version. The most popular one. Read the full article
