"If you’re just going to think about it, you won’t get to do it. Just go out there, and do it. Think less, do more. Also, thinking won’t pay the bills."
I’m almost sure that’s how criminals, idiots, and whoever else who falls into this category, reason, even if they do so unconsciously. So, no. Think more.
Of course, there are going to be things that will require less thinking than other things, but that just means that the former kind are not as weighty as the latter kind, in the sense that the consequences of the lighter actions are not as impactful as the heavy ones.
And as for paying the bills, you must’ve thought about that too. For example, you most probably thought about where to work, how you want to earn your money for now AND for the rest of your life, pros and cons of working relative to your living conditions, etc.
Thinking more doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get nothing done or do less. If anything, thinking leads you to do the correct things, both logically and morally.
Thinking thoroughly, morally, and logically, before taking action, is responsible in almost every sense of the word.
