The sneeze was so loud that Daryl was certain that not only Leia lounging in her bathtub downstairs, but even those passing by outside his laboratory could hear the sounds of his anguished sniffles-turned-suffering.
He had meant to get out of bed and get started on a new hypothesis on how to capture that maleficent beast of legend, but yesterday’s excursion had not only damaged his pride, but so too did his health take a hit. Exhaustion weighed his bones down to the bed where he was left to overheat under his own unbearable temperature. His muscles, carefully curated to defeat a monster of myth, could barely lift him an inch.
Woe was such a fate to befall a scientific mind!
