design/outfit updates for oc trio!
(1/2) WOW! thank you for your nice incredible long response! i appreciate the time you took to answer!! ♡♡ first.. your japanese is great! i thought you were native LMAO :0 second i cant believe you've been stanning mrs since 2018 omgg. yesss it’s true - i've noticed they have a lot of content (which is good of course!) they even have a radio show right? but it broadcasts past my bedtime LOL
(2/2) i've been keeping content watching their lives on youtube :) i just cant help feeling like i'm missing something HAHAH <- but this cant be avoided after 10 years right? haha well! i guess if i follow you on twitter i can learn through osmosis ne? (+ your FA is so lovely!!) i've resolved to start with the harmony blu ray because the orchestra (and red hair wakai…x_x) you're so supportive thank you! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ so nice to speak to another overseas ringo jam
p.s. mokkun is allergic to apples????? this is like when i found out ryo chan and takano are from nagano - my first home here in japan! like what r u doing in my house anyway ty again <3 happy stanning hehe
no problem!! my thoughts have a tendency to just run off whenever it comes to mrs HAHA but thank you!! i think my japanese still has ways to go and is only decent enough for casual conversation but it's a fun language to learn. and yeah, i often think it's a miracle i found them back in 2018 i have the utaite who covered shunshu back then to thank for feeding mrs into my yt recommendations. sometimes i feel like i discovered mrs after boku no koto released (2019) but also given the timing, it was definitely before and i do remember when boku no koto mv first released LOL
yes, they have a radio section called mrs. locks! i believe they put it up on radiko.jp as well as the transcription of it after the broadcast but you can only listen to it if you're in japan, so i rely on yt channels to listen to it haha. and yeah, they post so much of their live performances on yt i'm really grateful for it! but also being able to watch the whole concert in full along with the mcs in between is an experience itself! the setlists they put together are so good (the first several songs of noah no hakobune still gets me so much...) harmony is such a good live!! all the song arrangements and stage set are so cool! hope you enjoy watching it!!
(and yes, ohmori-san has a tweet he occasionally rt's when he gets an influx of followers that's like "i'm suddenly gaining a lot of followers so let me introduce myself. i write and sing songs for the band called mrs. green apple. it's not (read) "genki", but "motoki". i'm allergic to apples." 😂)
hello miu can i ask a Question...? i recently got into mrs green apple(like two months ago i feel so behind) and i want to know how you manage to stay informed and up to date as an overseas fan? because i find that a lot of content is solely in jpn and though i live here my japanese isnt that great LOL so i have to access a lot of content through korean ringo jams on youtube :,) i would like to be able to support them more! (also i found out they came to my city recently BEFORE I KNEW THEM)
hi!! first of all, i think it's totally fine to go at your own pace without rushing yourself to keep updated! they have a lot posted on youtube, and have been doing a lot in general (from releases to concerts to tv appearances to starring in shows etc), and trying to absorb everything all at once might be overwhelming. i think discovering things about them as they come up is fun in and of itself! like when i found out two years ago that ohmori-san is actually allergic to apples SDLFKGH
for myself, i tend to keep up with general info and announcements via following them on twt. i also followed their official LINE account some time last year and get notifs as they announce things since while i'm always on twt i'm not always on twt LOL i also get info from tweets from other fans talking about stuff the members have said in interviews and such as they come up on my tl (though they are in jpn)
i don't know if you're a student or working full time (you don't have to tell me lol) but i know that can make a difference too. when i first discovered mrs, i was still a college student without a job and hardly any money, and my jpn skills were mediocre at the time, so i totally understand the feeling of restriction when it came to any official mrs content since it was limited to japan only. at the time, really the most i did was just listen to their music a bunch (i'm the type of person to purchase songs on itunes rather than listen thru streaming services) and watch whatever they had on their yt channel since it wasn't like anything else was accessible.
now that i'm older and have my own job and earn my own money, and since they've made things like their fan club and online store and such accessible to overseas fans, that has opened a bunch of doors for me and i've been able to support them that way now since the me from 2018 never imagined i could :') ofc, since it does cost money to be in their fan club, or to buy merch or concert dvds, or to buy magazines for their interviews, it's good to remember you don't have to spend your money on everything, just focus on what you want and what you'd get out of it. i have the bad habit of wanting to buy everything (or a bunch of things) but to me, the most valuable purchases have been their concert blurays...truly a life changer for me haha
i also understand that not knowing jpn too much limits how much you can enjoy it, since i've realized these past two years that mrs has been a lot more enjoyable to me than they already were because my jpn had improved over the years. i don't know if you have goals of improving at the language, but they could definitely serve as motivation towards that goal if that was something you're ever interested in!
but again, going at your own pace is important, and it's not like you have to spend money to support them! they've been goin at it for over 10 years so it's a lot! i think they'd be happy enough that you just listen to their music haha
why not entertain them for a bit? 🎱
