when someone hits me with the 'if you act, how can you be shy?' AAAAHHHH
it is because when you act you know that's not you. you have control over what happens and you know how everything is going to develop. your steps, your pauses, your dialogue, everything has been decided beforehand. you're just lending your body to the character. it is not scary real life where you cannot control everything and when everything can go sideways in a sec.
