So I Google “short commercial monologue”
And Google always sends me
“COMMERCIALS FOR WOMEN” “COMMERCIALS FOR MEN”
and I’m always like… “Listen, I understand gendered marketing exists and is affective. I understand certain voices are more suited for selling certain products, because that is your target audience. However…. most of these are actually pretty damn neutral and a neutral section for auditions should exist. I would appreciate not being bombarded with "this is for men, that’s for women" when that’s not what I searched for. My first Google result should be just a list of commercials, categorized maybe in subfolders of male and female, but why is that the main search?
IT’S JACKED UP HOW MANY PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY SEARCH FOR "FOR MALE” AND “FOR FEMALE” IN THESE SITUATIONS"
