“Unas exterminadoras insufribles y mentecatas”

Zero to One Million Gold Challenge
The Challenge
Today i want to start a new project. This project is about getting to One Million Gold on a server where i dont have a high level character. So no starting Gold or something else is acquired to this character. The Realm is a medium pop realm. There is no specific time i set myself to finish this task. Let’s see how many gold we can make during leveling :) Check out what i did on the single days and/or see the summary of the Day down below
Day #1 Part 1
Not much to say here. I just created a new character on a new realm and started questing. For professions i picked up Mining and Tailoring. I crafted 2 Shirts in hope to sell for a few gold. The left Line Cloth Bolts i put on the Auction House as well as the Copper Bars, which i also crafted after hitting level 15.
Summary
I’m level 21 after 3 hours of questing and running dungeons. I got no BoE’s out of the dungeons i did. The auction value is 16708 gold pure auction market value. I guess the shirts will take a while to sell and the Starting Items will not even sell. But i will give it a try.

What are you waiting for soldiers, let’s go, What the?” “Everyone is surprised to see me alive.” The DEA faked his death, Salazar is going to be our star witness for the next 10 years.” The new Steven Seagal action movie ‘Cartels’ formerly known as Killing Salazar pits U.S. forces against an Eastern European drug cartel.

The Power of WoW Tokens
It’s likely you’ve heard that Blizzard is introducing an interesting new feature into World of Warcraft. WoW tokens will be the newest addition to the game soon. For the entirety of Warcraft’s 10 year tenure. There has been no way, without violating the games terms of service, to trade your real money for gold in game. This has led to many third party sites popping up to sell you gold for various prices and of varying levels of shady.
While the gold gathering techniques of these sites have never been fully exposed. Blizzard alleges that these sites gain the majority of their resources from hacking or stealing accounts. Either selling all the items on the account and/or raiding their banks. Obviously, allowing exploiters to have a marketplace to sell their ill-begotten gold was something that Blizzard did not want to happen. Blizz was wise enough to recognize that this wasn’t going to be something that would be solved with a knee jerk reaction of shutting these sites down. To get rid of this black market they were going to have to take a big step. In the meantime, they tracked these sites, banned players affiliated with them and did what they could to keep the problem in hand.
As Blizzard rolls out these WoW Tokens, it’s obvious that this is their true response to illegal gold markets. What better way to close that market but to provide a lawful way to obtain gold and thereby take away the demand. As for shutting down the illegal gold market, this is the largest move that Blizzard has ever made.
Now this isn’t just for purchasing gold in game, it’s also a way to use your in game gold to buy playtime in Warcraft. That’s right. All those hours farming, running old dungeons for pets and gaming the auction house. May pay for that next month (or more) of Warcraft playtime.
Tokens can be purchased with real money and then turned into an online token exchange. It will then list your token for sale for a variable amount of gold. Blizzard will be setting the price of these Tokens, such when you post it for sale you’re guaranteed that amount of gold. Regardless of when it sells. This means that even if the price of the Token drops due to in game economy fluctuations. You’ll still get the amount of gold that you paid real money for. This inclusion in the WoW economy while at the same time still holding Tokens apart from the variations of the AH is an ingenious move by Blizzard. You won’t see people trying to game the economy with Tokens or people having to pay over extravagant amounts of gold for play time.
With many games now going “Free to Play” and funding server maintenance and content production through the use of micro transactions. It’s nice to know that Blizzard won’t be going in that direction. Assuming that the gold value of a token is around 50k (value picked arbitrarily). It would even be possible for a player that can’t afford the monthly subscription, to continue playing through strategic use of their time. This also allows players with a multitude of gold to help spur both Blizzard’s revenue and the in game economy. Fueling their playtime with that pile of gold they’ve been hoarding. I for one, as an avid shopper on the auction house, am excited about this change coming to Warcraft and will be looking forward to buying my first WoW Token.
What do you think about the WoW Token? Will you be participating in this program? What do you have more of real life “gold” or in game gold? Comment below and let me know!
