> you feel a heavy weight knock the wind out of you
> Wake Up.
It feels like there was a reset.
You feel ache in your bones and heaviness in your pumper, and lord only knows where you’ve been this whole time.
There’s only two things you know:
You’re basically the next Handmaid
You once had a someone in your life
Your name is ARADIA MEGIDO and you have lots of searching to do.

> Moving On
You sigh in relief, sealing the last of your boxes and letting yourself sprawl on the floor. It wasn’t the packing that wore you out rather the thought of moving them to different locations. Some going to the rented storage unit, others heading to donation places. It was a hindrance to the fire burning within you.
Ever since Sollux left, the place has lost its happiness. Days and nights idled on without any spark, drowning you in a sea of darkness. And despite promising yourself that you wouldn’t let yourself sink, you clung on, a small part of you hoping that he’d come back. Yet he was still gone; you couldn’t go on breathing in the demons anymore.
Some guilt pricked at your pumper, but your desire to taste freedom helped push them away. Where were you going? Well, wherever the stars took you. They were your guides afterall.
And with just the thought of the stars, you push yourself up, tossing the tape to the side and using a hand to twist and twirl in the air. All the boxes glowed a vibrant white and deep red, slowly floating in the air and patiently waiting for your next commands.
Perhaps you would be back before he did. Perhaps he won’t ever return. Perhaps you won’t. Whatever the case may be, you were sure that a letter suited your absence. Left on the nightstand between the coons and written in your cursive writing, you detailed your thoughts and emotions he had made you feel, along with your next adventure, and the fate of his items (which you’ve decided to store as well).
The door opens at your will and the boxes marched right out, your body slowly moving from the carpet and trailing behind the line. You take a moment to pause, turning your head around and gliding over every inch of the block. Memories of both the good and bad lurked in the shadows; you could stay in the past forever. But a butterfly migrates when it needs to survive and that’s exactly what you’re doing.
The lights flicker off and the door shuts.
hey!
if you received this message i just want to say dont ever give up a tunnel may be dark and endless but theres always light at the end so follow your dreams and be kind because we need a lot of that in our universe
i love you all

> Aradia: Scream
You wish you could. You really do; however, every ounce of life in you has dissolved, leaving you feel light and empty. If someone were to breathe your way, you were sure you would float away into the sky.
You spent the whole day mulling over Sollux, your hopeful thoughts battling over your thinkpan with your depressed ones. You couldn’t even sleep it off; instead, you took a seat besides his coon, back pressing against the cool wall of it. You couldn’t look. You couldn’t without breaking.
You had placed the box with his belongings besides you, a hand resting on it and squeezing it every once in a while. You didn’t want to open it before, but now...it was inevitable. You grab it, placing it on your lap, and ripping the top off.
Inside, you find a poster, a chain, a thumb drive, and...! You catch a breath in your throat as you slowly pulled out a black jacket, your fingers slowly grazing the texture of it. You blink once. You blink twice. And suddenly there’s tiny splatters on the surface. You use a hand to wipe one of your cheeks, the back of your palm wet and glistening.
You’re not sure why you’re not screaming Or making noises. But agony has definitely made a hole in your chest.
You place the box back to your side, shifting yourself so you could slip into his wear. It was a bit big on you, but you fall in love instantly. You tuck your nose inside, inhaling and closing your eyes.
Yeah. It’s him.
You tighten it more, new tears slipping between the slits and staining the fabric. Your sobs are silent and endless; by the time you’re finished, the night darkened the block and hid you away from the world.
You find yourself on your side, hair spilled out on the ground like a dark puddle and your eyes are the only glow in the block. It feels like a bunch of pins and needles in your pumper and with each breath, death felt more plausible.
But you promised him. And you were going to keep it.
> Did you tell him?
No. How could you? He had enough to stress about.
Perhaps he didn’t feel the same way back.
You feared, at first, that it was just a rebound from your break up with Rose.
But Lord knows you do love him.
You’re screaming red for him.
You love him and now he will never know.
Something snaps. Your maw opens and a scream tears your throat.
> Remove your things from Rose’s hive
You find yourself standing at the door, scanning around before completely stepping inside. Dust lightly covered the floor, floating in the air as well which triggered you to sneeze. Everything remained in the same place, untouched since you and Rose moved out. Agony gripped your pumper in a teasingly way.
Your legs suddenly refuse to move, in fear that you’ll fall into a worse despair. And you might, considering how much you miss Rose. Memories seemed to hide at every corner and you didn’t want to encounter them. Why kill yourself even more?
You had no choice. You needed your things and the sooner you did it, the better. You float, reluctantly, to your block and started packing them into your sylladex. You noticed she left some of her stuff here too and you couldn’t help, but take one of her shirts and feel the fabric between your fingers. And, being the weirdo that you were, you brought it up to your face and sniffed it.
It smelled like her. It smelled like home, as humans would say. And you gritted your teeth, trying to stop the sob that threatened to spill. Not today. Not ever. No more tears.
You hurry more of your shit into your inventory and once done, you forced yourself to run out of the hive and back into the sunlight; the rays comforted your face, as if caressing it, and you sighed. You weren’t sure what would happen to the hive, but you were sure you weren’t going to come back anytime soon. Not until things were fixed.
So, for now, her t-shirt would be the only memory of a once perfect relationship.
