Ohh yes mama, yeahh baby! In Colombia WE EAT ANTS 🐜 but wait, wait! Not in all the county. In the region of Santander, just in the north east of the country the culture and people use to eat ants. I don’t know why? And how the tradition started but they eat ants 🐜 but not all the type of ants! No no no, just the big ass ones haha in Spanish means: Hormiga Culona and the translation is exactly the same!!! 😂😂 I was in Bogotá, which is the capital and I found this in the streets and I was surprised of the level of creativity!! They now are selling in English hahahahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 I have never tried the Big ass ant but definitely I will not do it. However, some people say that they taste good. Would you rather to try one??? Hola hola 👋🏻 les conté que dormí en un templo Sikh en india? Jaja si, así como suena. Llegábamos a la ciudad Chandigarh y no encontramos un sitio para pasar la madrugada mientras amanecía porque llegamos muy temprano. Todos los hostales estaban llenos y no encontrábamos un lugar. Pensamos en ir al hospital o a una estación de bus pero luego el conductor de Uber nos dijo que podíamos quedarnos en el templo. Llegamos, dimos una donación y nos alquilaron una habitación muy cómoda en donde descansamos!!! Está historia es de no creer! Estaba en #NewYork y caminaba por #Manhattan buscando la salida hacia #Centralpark cuando me dijeron que había una feria de comida latina. Y yo muy contenta y emocionada pues me dirigí a la feria porque hace 7 meses que no comía mi comida. A lo lejos observé mi bandera #Colombiana y fui corriendo hacia el puesto de arepas. Cuando de repente un Paisa me ofreció los manjares por 6 DÓLARES!!!!! Imagínense! Yo le dije: “uy amigo pero yo soy caleña y he vivido 7 meses en #Nuevadelhi quiero comerme una #arepita no me tires así tan duro” y me contesta : “no mi amor eso valen las arepas en la USA si queres una barata ándate pa #Colombia” me reí y obviamente con buen ánimo me marché porque sabía que dentro de 16 horas iba a estar en mi casa comiendo arepas colombianas. Ahora les digo muchachos, ustedes pagarían 6 dólares por una Arepa? La playa de Tonsai y Railay es una de las playas más hippies que he visto. Ya lo he dicho muchas veces, la vibra es muy chill. Está adornada con pinturas muy cool que hacen los viajeros buena onda que pasan por ahí. No dejes de visitar este lugar, tal vez sea diferente porque no es tan turístico ni encontrarás la rumba de tu vida, pero el ambiente es genial. Yo quisiera ir de nuevo o haberme quedado más tiempo, 4 días no fueron suficientes. #tonsaibeach • • • Tonsai beach is probably the most hippie beach I have seen. The vibe is so chill and everything goes with a cool flow. You can see the paintings that are around the place. Definitely is one of my favorite destinations. Is not the most touristic place or the party land but believe me it is worthy. If you like that vibe go... goooo now! I would love to go again.
