She was practically bouncing on her talons at the thought of entering this door, already wondering if it’s bridge to someone else's dream. Something left over from a past life... What ever it is it certainly smells delicious, ripe with negative emotions and...
Oh... They seem apprehensive about going inside. Feathered ears fold and plumage smoothed out.
“...Are... You sure? What if whatever is behind there isn’t so bad? At least... Not with me?” Her tail gave them a little encuraging tap on the back.
There was a confused trill chirp feeling him shift his weight upon them. Everything on him feels??? different? Obviously not a bad thing, Bor always welcomed close ones to lay their full weight on them, it feels comforting and... Safe.~
Bor leaned into his form with a tiny sleepy nuzzle before letting out a sigh. Tuning out everything but his rough deep voice, “Coulda fooled me, ahah!- but I gotta admit, it feels nice to have ya in this state. Wish I got proper eyes to examine ya properly, though laying on me like this is great too.~ Why haven’t ya done this more often? Does it take energy outta ya?”

The pigeon squawks!! feathers fly when grabbed, floating in the air before it crumbled into dark sand. Her crest flattened against her head looking panicked, trembling and shruggling in his tight grasp, small paws try to push up against his hands.
“AH!! I’m sorry I- um!” her pink eyes pinned and looked to the side with a little uncertainty. “I’m a dream messenger of sorts! I’ve been requested b-by an entity for your assistance, y-your Pitch Black are you not??”
Would it?? They walked in a little circle, head bobbing as they do trying to see if there’s any other food the ground. But nothing’s really tantalizing as popcorn kernels. Stops for a moment and... Yup! There they go! Flying up to go ontop of the counter to much on those kernels!~
Bor pecked at the kernels with a happy coo to thank him! Once eaten up they looked at him as if waiting for some more.~
“Only eat meat?? Huh, what a small world, so do I! I’m just eaten this bagel for the mouth feel and to play the pigeon part.” Give the bagel another peck or two before leaning up on his foot.
“How about I nab one of these humans breakfast meats for ya instead, hows that sound?~ bit better than stale bagels.~”
Now that Arc was outside, she could hear the high pitched bird-like chirps that accompanied the wails before it came. The culprit seemed to step out unknowingly closer towards the library, left their mouth a gaped as they made more of those high pitched chirps.
ChIIRP, ChIIRPp.... ChIiIRP, head tilting from side to side to listen for the echos back at them. But if it was unsatisfactory... The gryphon reared their head and let out the same wail Arc has been hearing. Looks like they’re trying to survey the area with sound.
Quoth the peacock griffin, "Wa--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"
‘Wa-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~!’
“Goes the peacock, morning signals itself through his call. You live another sleepless day to hear that beautiful creature’s cry. Feel the sunrays high above kissing your face. Relief, you may think. To hold a belief in one's mind where to hear the other’s wail...
Oh... That dreaded wail.
You do not know if it’s memories and regrets manifesting in such a way to keep you awake. They all sound so close so fresh as those memories do, down by that horrid lake. What you did there was for you and only you to know. And no one else. But still... Those wails... Perhaps you weren’t...
Quoth the peacock griffin, "Wa--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"
“Mid-day.” You mutter, hearing the griffins call again. You wish it’d stay, hearing now more distant, eyes glued to the clock. Too late to be morning and too soon for nightfall, something about that Peacock griffon’s call keeps you safe. Reminds you about the future, closure... Not now, but soon you’d hope-
The clock struck three.... three-fifteen, and the wail was right on time.
You’d think it’d be much closer, so you wince at the noise out of reaction, but it never chilled you to your core... You prepared everything incase the thing broke in, hence the locked door! But it sounds so distant, so far... You shakily peer out the window and find the beautiful shining peacock snuggling something under the tree.
It looked vaguely avian as the other did, but less... Shiny. Could barely tell if it were there if it weren’t for the other’s glowing aura. You’d think, perhaps the beast making that ghastly wail wasn’t the being under your morning friend’s wing. You were fairly sure until...
It calls again! These two were no couple yards from you and yet.. You found yourself two courting griffons... Not a ghost haunting you from autumn past.
So you think.
