i had a thought. that daeron losing egg wasnt an accident. when egg tells his story about aerion to dunk, daeron is not suprised to hear it. he knew what was going on. egg says that daeron shaved his head. literally why would he do that unless he was trying to hide eggs identity. i think he was maybe trying to free egg.
building on that. that the trial of the seven is more about aerion punishing daeron and egg for trying to run away than dunk for beating his ass. like yes that was a huge blow to his ego but the bigger humiliation is him finding out that his brothers are trying to pull a fast one on him.
i told my mom this and she said why wouldnt they have just told dunk that. that their plan was to have egg run away. you know what. i dont know.
has anyone else noticed rhat. idk. like fish eye or radial blur effect in some scenes around the edges? akotsk did this a lot too. i hate it it gives me motion sickness.

this is a few(?) eps old at this point but i did kinda perk up at aegon2 mentioning to his new kingsguard that they are sworn to chastity. and them kinda laughing it off while aegon did… seem kinda serious? at least at first. he truly believed the people around him would follow the oaths they Swore to follow..? i think he maybe buckles on that thought after seeing that his guards think its a joke. aegon2 doesnt want to be seen as a stick in the mud. he wants to be the Easygoing Beloved Party king his father was
only thing thats grabbed me so far is trying to figure out which animals are used for the dragon noises. but i do that every season. i hear a lot of crocodile in sheepstealer. those bellows are crazzyyy. i also thought i heard some horse in his snorting and chuffing? elephant in the roars… it might just be because im looking for it but i SWEAR i hear a elk bugle in caraxes. variety of birds of prey. in the past im pretty sure ive heard some eagle eek eeeks from him
