new tech just dropped earlier tonight btw: a lovely visualization of trance for active minds.
A cave that presents almost the very minimum of enviro stimuli: it's dark, chilly, and the slightest bit damp—not hot, not bright, and not dry nor too too wet. Lead them in by the hand, threading a narrow but not claustrophobic passage into the inner sanctum. In there, they should find a spot on the smooth stony floor that is perfectly molded to them and feels soft as down pillows due to the distributed pressure (this works irl too). If you or they need them back awake, model it as walking out of the mouth of the cave and rejoining you in the sanctum when they're comfortable; let them know they know the way in and out.

Beyond Body Improvement
Fight on!!!
In honor of Mob Psycho 100's anime adaptation ending one year ago, @anizinesinc put together True Colors: A Mob Psycho 100 Appreciation Zine. I've been writing stories for three projects throughout this year, and True Colors is the first to release!
So, that makes this my first truly published piece of creative writing. I'm very excited to share it all with you <3
All the content in this Zine is available to download for free right now, but if you want to throw it a few bones, any proceeds go toward the nonprofit Active Minds. I hope you'll consider it on your way to seeing over 100 pages of pure passion poured into lots of writing and art about a fantastic series.

Day 121 of Positivity
(Using today to share a post I’ve made on under SM)
It’s the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Month once again. I think I’ve been consistent of posting every year, maybe. This is an important topic for me and I’ll forever advocate it. Coping with your mental health is difficult at times. It’s important to know what helps you and to understand what’s going on with yourself. Whether that be from talking with your loved ones or with a professional.
To be real, I’ve seen a lot of improvement with my own mental health over the years. I still struggle, but the bad days are fewer. I say no when I feel I need to. I do things that bring me joy. I’ve gotten better at recognising when I’m getting “bad”. My anxiety is manageable now days and I owe it to professions, my loved ones, and myself.
As always, my inbox is always open. If you know me, you know that I’m always willing to listen and do whatever I can to help. Take care of yourself and be kind. 💚💙
Also, if you do anything today. Take a look at the Active Minds site. Maybe you’ll learn something or find a useful resource.

“You only get one life. And it’s a beautiful thing if you take care of it.” We owe a huge thank you to @zacharylevi for sharing this powerful message with students at Hyde Park High School, where he spoke with Active Minds as part of #SuicidePreventionMonth. Zac encouraged the students to think about how they speak to themselves internally -- with criticism and judgement or self-love and kindness? We can all use the reminder to stop and ask: are we speaking to ourselves in the way we’d speak to a friend?
Throughout September, we’ve shared tools to help you show up for a friend when they’re having more than a bad day. We’re so grateful Zac shared Active Minds’ V-A-R conversation tool with the students to better know how to listen and respond when a friend says they’re struggling. To learn more about V-A-R and the ways you can show up for a friend, head to our website”
