9to5Mac is reporting the Active Storage will be selling an Xserve solution after its discontinuation in less than three days. As you can see, it will most likely look similar and be rack mountable.
Active Storage was started by former Apple employees that work with Xserve RAIDs in 2008. It's safe to say these guys know what they're doing
