Really? But I haven’t been on your blog at all! It must somehow include who you talk to then …Also I didn’t realise you could see the trend of followers!! Mine is just a bunch of peaks haha clearly I haven’t done anything to attract people :P

Yep!! You weren't there before we started chatting back and forth, and then you were #2, now #1. So it must include all posts and replies, etc in how it calculates that.

Eh...if you mouse over the peaks you can see how many people it represents...but I'm just guessing that's why I had three all at once.

I do like how you can change the length of time … instead of my “top post" having like six notes I can make it go up to eighty and feel good about myself hehehe it’s going to be terrible in about a week though :P

That is pretty cool. I switched it to a month and was like...what in the world was up with the new followers spike over the 4th of July weekend? And then I remembered I posted the first chapter of Talking in Circles on July 1 and was all..."ahhh...that was why!!"

Otherwise I pretty much have a follower flatline though, lol.

Edited to Add: Now, over the course of this conversation, you've rocketed to #1 in my top four, heh.

I think it’s both … I do find it inconvenient how the notifications no longer appear on the “posts" page though.

Mmmm...I think it's probably both as well. And yeah...as always with changes, a little good...and a little bad....

I know...me too. And yeah, it must be. I wonder if it's how much people visit your page, or if it's how much your posts get reblogged/liked, or some combo. Probably a combo.

I was surprised I wasn’t on my list as well, I spend an awful lot of time on my own blog … I kind of want to be my own top stalker!

Ahhh...it changed!! Just from a little while ago...I'm not on the list anymore and people have all shifted around. That was fast!!

On the one hand, it feels somewhat narcissistic (like I shouldn't show up on that list at all)....

And on the other it somehow feels slightly self-deprecating (like, since I am on it, shouldn't I be my own biggest cheerleader?!)

Don't know what to make of this, Tumblr....hmmm.....
