Dev is one of the best Bengali actor, producer, entertainer and Politician who Works in Tollywood Film Industry. His native name is Deepak Adhikari. He was born on 25th December 1982 in West Bengal, India. Mr. Guru and Mousumi Adhikari are the parents of Dev. He has one elder sister named as Deepali. He has completed his Computer Engineering Diploma from Bharatiya Vidyapith of Pune. And, he also did an acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Academy.
Dev started his acting career in 2006 through a hit film Agnishapath. But, he has got success for his film “I Love you” in 2007 Role of Rahul. Some his popular films are I Love you, Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, Challenge, Dui Prithibi, Paglu, Paglu 2, Khoka 420, Bindaas, Herogiri, Sudhu Tomari Jonno, and Chander Pahar. He also has signed for his movie Khokababu which is very famous. His most remarkable and outstanding movie was Chander Pahar that has brought him the Tollywood National Award for Best Actor. He is doing two films, Amazon Obhijaan which is filming, and Champ which is only announced.
Dev has not married yet. But, he is going to marry his longtime girlfriend, Rukmini Maitra according to rumors. And, we also heard that he had an affair with Subhasree Ganguly.
