HOLLYWOOD pal Mark Wahlberg is not just giving Liam a lift in the gym — he is also plotting to make him a movie star.
Liam says the actor, 48, is priming him for a leading role, like the one ex-1D bandmate Harry Styles enjoyed in 2017 flick Dunkirk.
‘I am trying to get into acting, going to auditions and stuff,’ said Liam. ‘He (Wahlberg) does directing too, so we are going to try to find the perfect match for me.’
Admitting becoming an actor is a top ambition, he added: ‘The agency I work with are great. It’s been a learning curve, because I don’t know enough about acting. But I am in the running for a bunch of stuff, so watch this space.’
As for how he became the Boogie Nights star’s protégé, Liam said: ‘I went to his gym, we got talking and started training together. He was giving me different (advice)… acting stuff.’
