Dhawan!Doctor, you say?
What would happen if the 13th Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker, regenerated into the 14th Doctor, played by Sacha Dhawan? And what if, then, the Master, upon seeing this and finding it brilliant fun, copies the Doctor, as always, and regenerates into a Master played by Jodie Whittaker?
I spent way too long some time last night compiling a list of my own personal headcanons for what those versions of the Doctor and Master would be like. So, below are some of Dhawan!Master’s.
GET READY FOR A HUGE LIST
Jumpers. Lots of soft jumpers, paired with a knee-length jacket.
A fan of block colours, specifically yellow and blue.
Brainy specs!!! Round rims. Accidentally sat on them many times, mostly because he absent-mindedly stores them in the back pocket of his trousers, but somehow only broke them once. Thus, the left arm of the glasses is held onto the rest with a small solder job and a small bundle of duct tape.
No spatial awareness when it comes to his head. Behaves like it doesn’t exist. Will hit his head on absolutely everything and companions are genuinely debating whether he’s in a constant state of concussion or not.
He started off trying to wear a hat to soften the blow whenever he did hit his head, but it kept being a nuisance when running so he ditched it.
FLOPPY! HAIR! Always getting in his eyes, but it’s not enough of an inconvenience to warrant chopping it off. Likes to pull a 10 and runs his hands through his hair, but that tends to be when he’s nervous or thinking rather than when he’s excited or frustrated.
King of napping, as if he’s making up for 13’s lack of sleep. Wide awake on adventures of course, but can and will sleep anywhere. Companions have been known to step on him because he’s fallen asleep on the console room floor.
Has a growing collection of succulents. He lines them up along the console but makes sure to stick their pots down with superglue.
Main goal is to find a middle-ground with his companions. He knows he can’t keep everything from them like 13 did, but also doesn’t want to put them in danger as he always does.
Tries to stay clean-shaven. If he lets a beard grow, he begins to look too much like the Master, and seeing his reflection like that tends to send him into a bit of a crisis.
Quite quiet compared to the other Doctors. Still chatty of course – would it be the Doctor if they weren’t? But tends to observe first then explain.
Even if he isn’t the best singer, he’s very musical. When talking to himself, he almost always quietly sings his sentences. To let out excess hyperactive energy, he whistles or clicks his tongue or drums his fingers or taps his feet.
When he’s in a high-pressure situation, he can be found singing his notes and ideas aloud very nervously.
Knows from experience with the past Master that he now has puppy dog eyes and he absolutely uses this to his advantage. It makes him hugely successful at charming people to give him what he wants.
Nervous giggles.
Less of an inventor like 13 and more of a computer whizz and history geek.
Has a huge desire to read but has terrible trouble getting to the end of one sentence before he wants to get up and do something else.
Loves animal crossing. Loves. Animal. Crossing.
Doesn’t keep his admiration for humans a secret. Will gush about them at any given opportunity. Equally, will bash them.
Bigotry? Fuck you. Would absolutely punch a racist in the face like 12 but is one of those to hop around holding his fist after because it actually really hurt.
Does try to see the best in everyone but still, hard decisions have to be made and he’s the one making them, as always.
Very smiley, warm, will make everyone a cup of tea but actually he much prefers peppermint hot chocolate.
Will stand in the rain with no hood or umbrella.
His warmth may fool people into thinking they can walk over him at first. It doesn’t take long for those people to realise they have made the worst decision of their lives.
Rarely shouts aggressively, but has a way of making people uncomfortable by explaining things very seriously. As soon as he’s annoyed, all warmth leaves him immediately and it’s creepy, unnerving. The Oncoming Storm is visible in the depths of his eyes.
A hugger! All of 13’s touch aversion has left the 14th Doctor touch-starved. Loves to bundle people up in tight hugs and put his hand on their arms or pat their shoulders.
Will not talk about the Master. Pretends he doesn’t know her at first, as if she’s just another monster, but she will eventually wear him down…
Not romantic or sexual, adores his friends/companions. Romance and advances go completely over his head.
TARDIS is very warm and cozy. A fire crackles within the central crystal and a few big, comfy brown leather sofas are dotted about. Sofas OR huge beanbags.
Loves movie nights. Also loves popcorn.
Big sweet tooth.
Has a onesie. It’s very bright and very stripy.
Just wants to have fun. 13th Doctor tried really hard for that and in the process ended up shutting herself and everyone else out. This Doctor is hell bent on just… experiencing things and making his friends happy, without lying to them. That’s his intention, anyway, but some things are easier said than done.
Outright represses anything that happened with the Master or Gallifrey. Is hugely torn on the Time Lords and just prefers to forget about them.
Really bad at talking to people, as always. Small talk? What’s that? Even more stumped when talking to children, but they like him anyway.
Will eat a whole packet of Jammy Dodgers in one go.
Loves to just let the TARDIS drift in space and sit in the doorway with his legs dangling out.
Sometimes he’ll say something in a certain way and realise this voice was once used by the Master. He’ll stay quiet for a long time.
Got himself used to the voice by saying nice things on repeat. Positive association.
Unironically loves One Direction, McFLY, the feel good pop-rock kind of bands. Is actually kind of pissed when he finds out him and the Master have kind of similar music tastes (especially with Queen).
Finally likes pears but feels like he owes it to his previous regenerations not to eat them.
His TARDIS is open to people who he feels would benefit most from seeing the universe. His first companion is someone with severe depression and he wants to help soften the blow a bit.
13’s enjoyment of confrontation can bleed through. He still loves to face enemies, loves the thrill.
Quick to judge, and once his mind is made up on someone it can be very difficult to change his mind.
Bad at admitting he’s wrong.
Best buddies with his companion but doesn’t want to admit to himself that he doesn’t think he’ll find another Donna.
Hates shoes and socks. Finds them restrictive. Walks around the TARDIS bare foot and really tried to just wear sandals outside until he stubbed his toe on an adventure and almost got killed. Now, begrudgingly, wears 10’s converse outside because his feet are the same size and they’re worn in already.
His staple item is a friendship bracelet his first companion gave him. He refuses to take it off for anything.

Okay so following my Dhawan!Master post earlier today which can be found HERE, I’ve finished up my Whittaker!Master hc list!
I’ll repeat it here -- this au is based on the idea of Sacha Dhawan playing the 14th Doctor after Jodie Whittaker’s 13th Doctor regenerates, and Dhawan!Master regenerates into Whittaker!Master. So, all the Timeless Children stuff still happens, it’s in their past.
So, without anymore faff, let’s get on with it!
PREPARE FOR ANOTHER LONG HC LIST
Manic laughter
Like a bag of fireworks with a whole box of lit matches poured in and the top’s been tied up.
Jumping, hand clapping, excited squeals, never quite knows what her voice volume is doing. Can sometimes be shouting even when she doesn’t mean to.
SWORD. CANE. Mostly for show and taunting enemies, but can use it.
Walk walk fashion baby. Her TARDIS has an even bigger wardrobe than the Doctors (and every single item was stolen. She has a whole section dedicated to items she took from those she’s killed). She is never seen in the same outfit twice, but does have favourite items, such as her reflective sunglasses.
Wears round, reflective, red/gold sunglasses. Likes the feeling of privacy it gives her and doesn’t like being read by her eyes. Adds to the mysterious aesthetic she so dearly wishes to uphold.
Loves the whole corvid/raven imagery thing and really wants to wear feathers but found out feathers make her sneeze and is forever upset about it. Refuses to wear faux feathers because ‘despite being the fakest bitch in the universe, appearances must be maintained, darling.’
So, her sword cane has a raven’s head as the hilt. She uses its beak to hook lapels/collars. Mostly the Doctor’s. Always the Doctor’s.
HAIR VOLUME. Always ruffling it up to make sure it has that good Bounce.
Though they’re inconvenient, the drama of long, manicured, blood red nails is just too much to resist, plus running them up the Doctor’s chin is a favourite of hers.
Bonus: do you know that one lady in Holes who paints her nails with venom? Yeah, the Master does that.
Loves to experiment with makeup, but almost always goes for the deep red lipstick for the Drama.
No pet names. None. Unless you’re the Doctor. Then there are MANY.
Her personality and motivations are very torn. This is the regeneration after Dhawan!Master, and she has very mixed feelings about his whole situation.
On one hand, she can feel guilty and be on the edge of understanding that the Doctor has been through a lot, and that none of the Timeless Child stuff was the Doctor’s fault.
On the other hand, the Doctor left the Master to die, again.
On the other other hand, the Master discovered very quickly that their life drives itself right off the rails without the Doctor there. She doesn’t want to lose her best friend/enemy.
So, depending on the mood the Master woke up in that morning, she could either be bent on revenge, or could be very open to helping the Doctor out. For a price, of course.
Own TARDIS. Own rules. Very basic TARDIS despite her love for fashion. Basic, but nothing like the original configuration. She’s done being tied to the Time Lords, she hates them and what they made her (and what they did to the Doctor but she won’t talk about that)
Despite being done with the Time Lords, she still isn’t done with what she did to Gallifrey. She wears a fragment of rubble from the ruins as a necklace pendant. She says it’s because she enjoys wearing her victories as a medal, but she secretly can’t work out if it is that, or if she’s using it as a reminder of how far she can go and how much of a horror she can be. It is a reminder of that little slither of guilt.
Talks to herself, a lot.
Very fluid, deliberate movements until excited, but absolutely no spatial awareness and definitely will trip up steps if too focused on a dramatic monologue.
Quite formal, ‘posh’ language. Speech delivery can snap between being overly-animated and emotionless/monotonous in a blink. It happens enough to be extremely unnerving. No one’s quite sure who the ‘real’ her is.
Preferably Master. Mistress is fine. Missy? She will impale you with her sword if you utter the name Missy. It’s just not her, and she has had enough of searching for her identity.
Would pretend to be the Doctor and ruin the name if she wasn’t so touchy about her identity.
Refuses to go back to the dark place that Dhawan!Master was in and pretends she’s never been more sure of who she is but in reality she is just as lost and just as confused. Is just less destructive than he was with her confusion.
Can have the exposed, emotional moments that he had as she still struggles with who she is, but never lets them last long.
Flirts with the Doctor a lot, mostly just for fun. But there is a part of her which she hates, a part which kiiiind of wishes….
Blasts ABBA or Queen from her TARDIS console. Sometimes both at the same time.
Platform heels because she enjoyed being taller than the Doctor when she was Dhawan!Master and also likes the Drama.
Obviously, can come off as absolutely deranged.
TEAMS UP WITH THE WEEPING ANGELS!! (Obviously this will backfire on her. As always)
Darker hair than the 13th Doctor’s (totally not so I can just cosplay her with my own hair) but also just... metaphor~

I saw @valc0‘s post about the Doctor and the Master going undercover at a 20s party and then I got dragged into a rabbit hole of vintage fashion and then I was like ‘huh I wonder if 50s dresses would suit Whittaker!Master’ and yep yep they do.
Not sure which is my favourite and I have a lot of other fashion ideas for her (and Dhawan!Doctor!) but I have assignments to do so this is all for now!

after seeing tom screentesting for thor i finally finished this dumb thing warning block of text to try and make this work basically if this happened loki would be much harder to sympathize with lmao
actorswap>> hiddles as thor and hemsworth as loki.
Hiddles!thor would have a streak of mischievousness is also outgoing, cheerful and charming and always up for an adventure. Though magic is considered a womanly art, his lightening magic would be very destructive so people dont really think twice about it. Not much of a thinker more of a doer and smashing things, but also a sweetalker. Hemsworth!loki would be...cold (hehe) his size and strength should make him a favorable warrior but he's distant, aloof and doesn't talk much, preferring to hang back in the shadows (in fact ppl are kinda creeped out by how such a large guy like him can disappear so well) He's well versed in literature but in battle he's brutally efficient whether the methods be honorable or not, and he thinks and plans before he acts. People don't like him mostly because even though they dont know it the more primal dangerous roots of his jotun heritage seeps through from time to time.
