I know now enough to know what it's all about. I heard a Slaves song called "Acts of Fear and Love". In the song the artiste recalls of an event in which a teacher says: "there's no such thing as hate. Just acts of fear and love."
The artiste goes on to proclaim "that's a bold statement to make"
I can see where this idea manifests. I don't mean the communist classes which seem so popular in our university and college campuses. More, how it resonates with people. (Sidenote: I can guarantee people who preach this line are haters of some kind.) Simply speaking, people don't like to show to a group that they are capable of hate or hostility. For obvious reasons.
To me though, it seems obvious that the phrasing of the above is incorrect. It is not that there is no such thing as hate. Just acts of fear and love. It is that hate is a subcategory of the afore. Born out of them.
A radical commits acts of hate through the love of their ideas. Devoted beyond reason and logic. Acting as inquisitionor and executioner. For the "greater good".
In this I see how difficult it is to overcome hateful ideas. No matter where they come from. As they are conceived out of love. The only way to defeat love is with more hate. Or, what I would like to see, more love.
Imagine a dog forced to pick between two would be masters. One uses love: "come here Bingo. Whose a good boy", the odd piece of bacon or sausage to sweeten the deal.
The other uses fear: "COME HERE NOW!" with the crack of a whip.
Does the dog choose to obey it's instinct to eat or to stay alive?
If you were to truel this hyperthetic scenario. You could, in order to win, shoot the dog. Winning by dragging it's lifeless corpse to your person. Or, have an in heat female.
Duality. It's an incredible thing. I'd rather love than hate. Love where it is not deserved. But it's probably the hardest thing to do. More than to the people who mean most to you.
Listen to people and do not hate just because your familiars say so. Judge not less ye be judged. Be happy. Have lots of sex. Consentuel of course.
