It's always wild to me when I notice myself doing things to make my life easier as a disabled person
Like earlier while showering w/ my husband, I found myself leaning against the wall every time I was waiting for him to switch places w/ me, saving me some energy which I desperately needed to shower in the first place
While peeling potatoes the other day I found that it was easier to lean my elbow/most of my body on the counter, my hands were steadier that way bc my overall pain and unsteadiness was at least temporarily lessened
I figured out that being able to slip my boots on and never tie/untie them helps me TREMENDOUSLY, and same goes for my patch pants since they can just slip on (and they still look cool lol)
Sometimes I get so hopeless when it comes to managing pain/fatigue that I forget about simple things like these, that don't take the pain or tiredness away but at least help lessen it
