i'm not really against veganism as a form of protest against the capitalist meat/dairy/egg production system because it's fucking horrible and inhumane, but i am against veganism as a form of getting some kind of moral highground because you don't believe in the circle of life. in most places 99% of meat/dairy/egg production companies are evil animal abusers, not because they kill animals, but because the animals live and are killed in awful conditions (not to mention the exploitation of human labor from pretty much every corporate company). if you go outside right now and kill (not torture and kill, i mean kill as humanly as you can) and eat a fucking wild turkey nobody should be telling you that you're evil.
