I totally feel your frustration with not having a widespread amputee tag on this site. There are so many 'actually (insert experience here)' tags on tumblr, but the 'actually amputee' tag has like nothing :/

It's really rough! This month has started out leaving me feeling more rough about myself than I have since I was an edgy distressed preteen. You'd think there would be people engaging with each other given how common being a person with limb loss is— Not that I can ever find anybody near to me to befriend, and, God forbid, someone with similar experiences (congenital limb absence; it really feels like my strife belongs to a different planet sometimes).

We should brainstorm some decent tags. . .
