Me: tells my mom and family I have issues doing some things because of my ADHD and explaining her why

Mom: Okay...

Shortly afterwards:

Mom: why aren’t you doing thing x?

Later:

Mom: I read an article about an older man with ADHD and the issues of it! Now I understand you!

Me: ...thanks, but I told you all the time

Mom: :)

I have a gap year now luckily.

But the sense of dread of what's gonna happen when it ends is ever present.

How much I will fail.

How much studying I would be able to get done

The worst thing is I need to actually prepare for enrolling and I've barely scratched the preparation

It's tragically funny that there's almost none routine posting executive dysfunction blogs.

Like yeah sounds expectable. But still.
