I like the idea that Adrian doesn’t accept Rocky back 100% more than I do Rocky/Grace/Adrian. Your mate leaves you one a mission and returns mated to an alien. I like to think they have a difficult conversation and part ways. I like the thought that suddenly there’s a tension between Grace and Rocky because while Rocky expected this it still hurts.

I think reducing people who actually acknowledge that it doesn’t make sense for Padmé to have had sex or dated before Anakin due to logical reasoning like her being hyper focused on duty and dehumanizing herself to the point where she ignores her desires for the sake of others (which is literally canon.) as people who “aren’t progressive” is actually rude and disrespectful.

Instead of making it into a “purity complex” why not analyze it from a purely narrative perspective. There’s nothing to suggest Padmé ever had sex or dated before Anakin, and her only making a minor mention of a crush in AOTC isn’t enough to suggest it. But apparently saying this means we’re implying that Padmé not being virgin would mean Anidala’s love isn’t cosmic or pure or that they’re not fated to be?? Saying that Anakin is special and Padmé giving into her desire for once in her lifetime because she genuinely fell in love for the first time because they’re fated, and their love was pure and cosmic doesn’t translate to that happening because Padmé was a virgin. That has 0 to do with Anakin.

maybe a lil controversial but i’m forever a little resentful that they made beiste transition because it contradicted the entire arc and reason beiste was there, to show being masculine doesn’t make you any less of a woman 😭😭 only for them to go actually it does. i know we spent all of her screentime affirming that women don’t have to be the stereotype of femininity to be valid as a woman and beiste can be comfortable in her womanhood… but like… what if we took that back? i think they were trying to be progressive but i feel like maybe develop another character instead of regressing the message you are trying to achieve with this one..?

Star Trek/Pure Genius modern day au

Jim Kirk, a genius in the medical field with a genetic neurological disease called GSS. One surrounded in the medical field and started The Enterprise Hospital as it boldly goes where medicine hasn’t gone and explore. Jim Kirk recruits Leonard McCoy (a man who recently had to euthanize his father, David Andrew McCoy) to help him save lives. McCoy’s married to the woman, Jocelyn McCoy, head of the EPA. His daughter, Joanna McCoy, is a lesbian. Spock is a nurse (but his name is Harold  Grayson and he is a human. He is the son of a former American Ambassador named Sam and retired teacher Amanda Grayson) attending to Jim’s illed father George Samuel Kirk. Doctor Nyota Uhura and Doctor Christine Chapel both excellent doctors in a relationship, Doctor Hikaru Sulu (a mysterious priest), Doctor Pavel Chekov, and Montgomery Scott whose in love with the facility. Some think he is a janitor and Jim thinks he is a doctor who he got a hold of and he is not sure how. Scotty deals with the other cases that other people are positive relate to alcohol  related illnesses because some of the names he makes up are long and have ‘olo’ in it. Turns out he is the electrician who doubles as a janitor who has been around the doctors too long and often puts on a white coat to assure the families that their loved one is going to be fine. He leaves before the crew even know what he did. He even has his personal action figure on the table.
