therapy today:
every session we start off with how ive been feeling since last session. since its been about 3+ weeks. aside from some irritability, ive pretty much been numb... lots of dissociation. something i forgot to mention was that my dysphoria has been hell lately, which im sure contributes.
then i brought up eating - bingeing and restricting. ive always struggled with eating - its a very multifaceted issue: partially lifelong poverty, partially sensory processing issues, partially trauma, and of course just eating disorders (as much as EDs are "just" anything...)
we decided that the best way to help at the moment is to make up a schedule for eating and stick to it. because cooking & eating can be very overwhelming, the meals have to be easy, and they also have to work with my budget.
sensory issues came up a lot and K suggested she link me in with an occupational therapist... im not entirely sure what that will mean though lol
