For the first twenty two years of my life, I felt like I didn't have a maternal bone in my body and was convinced I'd never have kids. I never felt like I'd be fit for it or that I'd ever have someone I'd want that kind of life with. Last year, that all changed for me. I found someone I could actually envision a life and a future with, and I found someone who managed to evoke every motherly feeling that I never even knew I had.
