Hey guys. I'm in a bad spot. I've BEEN in a bad spot for a long time. Close friends have known about these things for a while, but I’ve been struggling with opening up about them for a long time. I feel humiliated and stupid, but I need to ask for help.

TL;DR: I am broke. I'm facing a lot of expenses due to health problems, and I don't know if I can cover the next month’s living expenses.

Longer version:

I’m paying $900 a month in medical expenses, but I need to start new medication adding another $300-$1000, as my insurance won't cover it. I have been diagnosed in the last few years with multiple incurable chronic diseases that require medication.

I can no longer afford the necessary $200 a month for therapy, which was crucial for handling my severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD

I’ve assumed several large loans for home repairs. Michael and I took out multiple to pay for necessary repairs, but since the breakup, they fell to me. (This isn’t Michael’s fault. As he doesn’t live with me anymore, it wouldn’t make sense for him to pay them)

I was charged fines by the IRS for the money Hunicast raised and donated to charity over the years (you cannot write off more donations than you've earned in income), as the funds hit my account before they were donated. This caused an over 4 year battle that nearly doubled the amount I originally owed with interest.

My home flooded due to a burst water heater and a simultaneous leak from the outside hose. Many repairs are still needed, but I can’t afford them.

I was scammed by a contractor who had his contractors license revoked mid-job. I lost thousands to unfinished and shoddy work. Sometime after he “finished,” much of what was complete was destroyed by the flood

One of the workers he hired stole a valuable lockbox. In it was money left by my late adoptive parents, their death certificates, my birth certificate and social security card, and the title to my car.

My biological father and grandmother passed and the inheritance they intended for me was stolen by another family member. They both died before they could amend their wills and another family member took advantage of that in order to keep my share.

I put most of my own time and money into Far-Fetched, a financial burden I took on before any of this happened. That burden was only recently lifted by the Kickstarter, but the funds raised are going to the project, not myself.

This has all worsened my mental health and aggravated my pre-existing medical issues, causing me frequent episodes of physical pain. This has made it increasingly difficult for me to work and stream.

I’ve finally managed to pay what I owe to the IRS, which has left me practically broke, and the budget raised by the Far-Fetched Kickstarter will only be put towards it’s production. Because of that, I’m in a hole I don’t see the way out of other than asking for help… So I just… yeah I need help. Badly. I’m not making enough to cover my debts, living expenses, and constantly growing medical costs. I absolutely do not expect to recover all the money I’ve lost, but anything to help me get back on my feet would be immensely helpful.
