Our Guardians have become Oryx.

So, Toland scoffed at us for killing Oryx and not taking his throne (Which Mara Sov tried to do bu her throne world was corrupted by Oryx while she waited to take his) But I would argue that we have become Oryx in a metaphorical sense.

Oryx lived and died by the Sword Logic. Killing things to make the universe perfect and killing powerful enemies to increase his own power. Oryx Chased the Traveler, killing and wiping out the species it rose to fight him. We ended him because he wanted to get revenge on us for killing Crota and thus we killed one of three Hive Gods but didn’t steal his dreadnaught and go feeding a worm with our kills....yet.

in D2 we hear rumblings of Savathun and the Taken return with a vengeance despite the person behind the power of taking being long dead and in Warmind, we Slay a Worm God and craft a Sniper Rifle to feed it posthumously. Then in Forsaken, we stumble into a trap set by Savathun herself to feed her worm in an “infinite murder battery” And do we ever feed it.

If we think about her, she gains tribute, if we are fooled by her, she gains tribute, every single enemy we kill in the dreaming city, every time we slay Riven, Dul Incaru or read the Truth to Power we feed her. She grows in Strength, in Cunning.

And we’re going to Kill her. We will wipe her out at the peak of her power, leaving just Xivu Arath as the lone hive Goddess. With that, we may just be increasing the size and scope of our Own throne World that Eris seems to have found. We will fight a superior Opponent and kill them to make the Universe that much more empty and perfect.

We will slay Savathun and increase our power because the Sword Logic demands it.

Bi men, you HAVE to be there for bi women and NB Bi's. They get what you're experiences are like and everyone under the bi umbrella needs to have each others backs. Bi women got you, NB Bi's got you, you need to get them too.

It sucks that over the years I tried to make my dash as bi as possible and yet still there's barely any talk about bisexuality unless it's a blog with bi in the url. Outside of our own people making stuff about us we don't fucking matter. Nothings ever bisexual because no one thinks about us and it hurts.

one thing I don’t like about Caps fans is that, even before the Cup, any time the opponents do anything good it’s “C’mon caps stop fucking up!” It was one of the things I HATED about season tickets. Some guy on the other team break up a pass from Backstrom or Kuzy “GET YOUR HEADS OUTTA YOU ASSES!”. They do a great passing play and the shot gets blocked or the goalie makes a save that doesn’t result in a draw “C”MON SHOOT THE DAMN THING RIGHT!”

like a team plays defense properly against the Caps and “on they played like shit” Like the NHL isn’t just “hall of fame or suck” Like every team has world class hockey players and there’s a reason the NHL makes up most international teams above junior level. Teams WILL play the Caps well, every game isn’t a gonna be a 4-1 beat down and the Caps CAN PLAY WELL AND LOSE.

So we get long thesis level analysis on why we shouldn’t give Zavala a hard time for his failings as Vanguard Commander in letting guardians die without their light, abandoning Earth, wanting to let Uldren and the Barons get to Riven unimpeded and so on.

But Mara Sov is supposed to be this evil bitch because Oryx took the last Ahamkara and Savathun used said taken ahamkara to put a curse on the dreaming city that outdoes even Vex time-bending technology? All while the traveler's ghost steals the corpses of her people to fight whatever shows up on Earth next to kill humanity, including Zavala, and now her brother who we (let’s be real Bungie wants it to be our guardian who kills Uldren not Petra).

I hate how our ghost is like “Mara you suck cuz you haven’t broken this curse yet” meanwhile we can’t access the cosmodrome, Venus, the dreadnought, or any of the territories we spent the previous game fighting for “cuz Zavala said so”. Guardians have never been so powerful before but we have next to nothing to show for it territory wise, hell a RAID takes place INSIDE THE GOD DAMN CITY because we’re so disorganized and weak, but that’s not Zavala’s fault, but a wish dragon’s curse on the dreaming city makes Mara a bad queen. Damn I wish my Guardians could actually talk so I could tell Ghost to shut the fuck up, and tell Zavala to step his fucking ass up and do something because our threats get bigger and our city gets smaller, or let Ikora take over.

I don’t like the “Mara bad Zavala good” angle they’re going with one fucking bit, especially when Mara’s plan to fight the curse hasn’t even been revealed yet, meanwhile, Zavala is standing right there in the Tower, doing zero things about the Fallen INSIDE OUR WALLS.
