After over two years, ADTR is “right back at it again,” releasing their new single “Paranoia” along with a music video and announcement of their spring tour with Parkway Drive and State Champs.
Though the single definitely did not live up to the hype- monotonous rhythms, thin texture, and lesser intensity of style and composition lend Paranoia to sound like a generic version of System of a Down- which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise after having a listen to Common Courtesy.
Needless to say, I’m pretty homesick for some pre-2010-sounding A Day to Remember.
