was going through my yuri screenshots folder and came across this, adachi you get it so so hard

I watched Adachi and Shimamura a few days ago and I’m SO conflicted on it but that’s another yap. Overall I liked it but some parts are a little odd to me. One of those parts is how many nude or scantily clad scenes they had of the girls. The shower and bath scenes were SO unnecessary and kind of gross. The inner monologue scenes are a bit better, symbolically and artistically they’re gorgeous but not with 15 year old girls. The show would’ve been so much better if they were in their last year of high school, the “I’ll never see her again” stakes would’ve been higher, the artistic nude scenes would be a bit less gross, and overall the story would be better. Also, it would be interesting if they both vaguely knew of the other for a few years and had their preconceived notions and then skipping in the same place helps break those notions. Or they’re complete strangers for 2 years and learn life lessons or something by meeting in the loft. It’s ALMOST a good show and that’s the annoying part. The bones are good but they made it weird.
