Matthew's father, Adalberto Romano, or Al Romano. A businessman from Neapolis, a southern city of Cinquefrecce. He came to Franda with the Great Arrival of Cinquefrecco immigrants. His business runs smooth and soon formed a family because of his knowledge of the local situation in Farranda and his good command of local language.
Neapolis refers to Naples in the alternative history, Cinquefrecce as Italy, Farranda as America
