New Boy
Once Gabe had discussed the idea of Isa staying in New York for the foreseeable future, Cece had tried to make small chances to her schedule to make sure she could be around as much as possible. After a lot of begging and the promise that she wouldn't stop singing altogether, the manager at The Rum House had agreed to swap Cece's weekend shifts for week nights. Not only could she be around at the weekend with Gabe and Isa, but the change in hours also meant that she'd been able to flirt her way into a more senior role. More cash, more responsibility. However, it also meant that she had to deal with the rest of the staff, including the newbies. Cece was not a fan of the newbies.
The current newbie - Adam - was supposed to be on a probationary shift tonight, which meant that she would have to follow him around and correct his mistakes. And smile. Another thing that Cece was not a fan of. Still, the bar was due to be busy and any pair of hands was better than no pair of hands. If he turns up, she thought to herself, grimly. Cece grabbed her staff ID and stepped behind the bar, surveying her territory for the next few hours.
