Adam Scott and Paul Rudd Got Kicked Out of A Wedding
Adam Scott stopped by Late Night and told a story about how he and his good friend Paul Rudd got kicked out of a wedding. Scott explained to host Seth Meyers, “…This was like 10 years ago. A friend of ours is getting married. His friend was making a video where all the buddies say congratulations.” Scott said that he and Rudd decided to make light of the situation by exposing themselves in their part of the video, which was not a great idea because, “The video, as it turns out, was shown at the reception.”
Adam Scott Gets Real About His Fake Penis in 'The Overnight'
One of the most unexpected, headline-grabbing talking points coming out of this year’s Sundance Film Festival was the prosthetic penises worn by Adam Scott and Jason Schwartzman in the buzzy comedy The Overnight. “There are some pretty lengthy shots of penises in this movie, so I imagined we were going to get some questions about it,” Scott admitted to Yahoo Movies, which you can watch in the video above.
The actors play Alex and Kurt, newfound friends who, along with their wives (Taylor Schilling and Judith Godrèche, respectively) bond over the course of a drunken night. There’s skinny-dipping involved, which leads to a crisis for Scott’s character Alex, who is, um, size-challenged — especially after he gets a look at the very well-endowed Kurt in the buff. Scott addressed the question on everyone’s mind after the film’s Sundance premiere, telling the audience, “They were both prosthetics, OK?”

Scott admitted he and Schwartzman were nervous about shooting their nude scenes, but not because of the “props”: “We glued them onto our bodies, and it looks like a real penis, so for all intents and purposes everyone there is seeing what you look like when you’re naked,” he said. “But it’s not real. So there’s this weird psychological barrier where for whatever reason we were way more comfortable than we thought we would be. It was like wearing a new pair of shorts of something.”
The Overnight is now in select theaters. Watch the trailer:
An Internet Etiquette PSA From the Cast of 'Hot Tub Time Machine'
Yesterday, they gave us the do?s and don?ts (OK, mostly the don?ts) of hot-tub usage. Today, Hot Tub Time Machine 2 stars Rob Corddry, Adam Scott, and Clark Duke return with a second public announcement (produced in conjunction with Yahoo Movies) in which they focus their attention on shoddy Internet practices.
Is there someone in your life who desperately needs to learn how to use the BCC email option? Perhaps you have a pal obsessed with uploading food photos on Facebook and Instagram? Or maybe there?s a relative constantly inviting you to play Candy Crush? Why not just subtly post this video on their wall and see if they get the hint.
But remember, baby photos are fine, OK?
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 opens Friday.
