That's a tough question to give a blanket statement to. Although I guess that itself is as good an answer as any, I love "I BLAME SOCIETY!!!" as a joke, but as a genuine attitude it's not very practical or conductive to anything, not least of all because there is no one society to encompass all of humanity.

I think there are two dangerous things people can do in the face of something that negatively impacts others, and that is 1.) Blame a single individual (or small group of individuals) and claim that everybody else completely innocent in that regard or 2.) Blame society and emphasise that your hands as an individual are perfectly clean.

It's very important to remember that no thought or action exists in a vacuum, and it's very important to remember that society is not a mythical and faceless being, but rather a very real collection of individual people's voices, of which you are inevitably a part as well.

I can't conceive of a reason why I would actually voluntarily go on a blind date to begin with, because my relationship style (romantic or otherwise) absolutely mandates a lengthy pre-interaction screening process, but I guess in theory I would just plop my arse down wherever we're meeting, take a brief moment to stare at my date intently in judgmental silence, and then force an awkward smile and say hello.43. It depends. For me it's sort of difficult to parse this huge issue with somebody being sexually interested in other people, so if we're really talking about a straightforward case of "saw them, wanted them, banged them - sorry 'bout that", then that's not exactly where my beef lies, and you can probably score a free pass there.

However what I'm very wary of is cheating as a symptom of something else entirely. Because I have no time for "cheating as a passive-aggressive way to express dissatisfaction with some aspect of our relationship" crap, and I do get hugely hung up over the deceptive aspect of it, so if that's the case, if I have to be the one to puzzle it out, or if there's some bullshit about the "thrill of secrecy" involved, then we are probably sixty kinds of done.

Dear person I hate,

There are things about you I just can't stand, how opinionated you are is a big one. I don't actually know you in person so I can't say if this is just you puffing your chest out or not. I just have issue that you think you're opinion is better than everyone else's because you've been with to series or franchise longer. I don't know why so many people love you and your marysue characters so much.  I'm not saying you're NOT a great artist because I LOVE your art it's just your characters are not good and how you fetishsize homosexuality is horrible.
