Little Game Facts: Canabalt
“Canabalt is a one-button endless runner in which a well-dressed person attempts to outrun the destruction of their city via a series of carefully timed jumps.”
It was created in 2009 by Adam Saltsman and Danny Baranowsky as a Flash game as part of the Experimental Gameplay Project under the theme “Bare Minimum”
The game was later ported to the Commodore 64 by Paul Koller in 2011 and also had a cartridge release in 2012.
