It had been a while since Charlie and Adam Connelly had run into each other. Admittedly, their social circles weren’t very similar in the slightest. With Adam’s dad being the head of the RNC, really the only thing the two of them should be doing was bumping heads. Instead, they had seen eye to eye the last time they actually talked politics, Charlie being a vocal support from the Democratic side of the party line to assist Rep. Connelly’s Tobacco Bill. Hell, if something benefitted their fight for a greener planet, it didn’t matter what side of the line the bill was coming from. Every now and then Charlie found himself in a hallway he was slightly unfamiliar with, but making his way back to the main entranceway and retracing back to his office always seemed to help, and also gave him a little time to digest whatever information he’d just taken in. He spotted Connelly on his way back that way. “Representative, long time no talk. How are things going with you,” Charlie said, holding out their hand as a common courtesy.
