😱 [makes a silly face @ meiel]

Meiel broke out in a fit of laughs and giggles that set her pink hair bouncing in the wind. Adam looked strange and ridiculous, and utterly hilarious and even if she might be able to control her reaction she didn’t want to.

Once she’d recovered enough she cheekily stuck her tongue out at him before doing her best to mirror his expression from before, aven if she didn’t quite manage to cross her eyes.

“Woah, are you okay?” (for meiel)

Meiel rubbed at her head and picked herself back up off the ground. “Yhea I’m fine.” she assured, an embarrassed smile and faint blush spreading rapidly across her face. 

“Sorry I bumped into you like that, I kinda got lost in thought I think.” Or more like distracted by a pretty bird and had forgot to look before turning a corner, bumping in to the tall blonde boy had felt like walking into a brick wall. “I’m Meiel by the way.” she added as she remembered to introduce herself.

“I went a little overboard sure… but I’m still alive. So shh.”

“A little overboard? Adam as the patron saint of understatements I can safely say that’s the worst one I’ve ever heard.” Heaving a slightly annoyed sigh he scooped his human up in his arms, carrying him up the stairs and to their bed.

“where once wings were”

He froze like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming truck when he caught sight of Adam in the bedroom doorway through the full-length mirror they kept in a corner.

 Some scars took a while to bleed through enough to be visible on his vessel but these? They had marked the flesh with six massive, ragged gashes paralleling his spine almost instantly and he hated it. He hated the visual reminder of what he had lost. Logically he knew he couldn’t keep the scars hidden from Adam forever, but that didn’t mean he was ready to show them yet. 

His eyes fell shut and his jaw clenched tight as he felt Adams stare weigh heavily on him. It was already too late to turn, to pretend nothing was wrong, to hide from the painful truth for a while longer. He wanted to, he really did, but it was just too late. Unable to form words he simply sat there, half dressed on the edge of the bed and breathing heavily, waiting for Adam to break the silence.

“  you’re  stressing  me  out.  ”     discomfort  is  only  the  tip  of  the  emotional  iceberg  here,   eyes  squinting  down  at  the  gear  laid  out  on  the  table  before  them.   with  all  the  shit  he's  been  through,   this  might  just  be  the  thing  that  ages  him  enough  to  make  gray  hairs  sprout   -----   SUPER  NOT  IDEAL !     “  where  did  you  even  get  all  this  poltergeist  shit ?   party  city ?  ”     /     @adamnedson​  !

“Bull. Shit.” Dean growled, leaning over Adam with a finger pointed at him accusingly. 

“What did you think was going to happen, kid? You can’t just go in guns blazing like that! You could have gotten yourself killed! You could have gotten us killed! I told you, you’re not ready!”

The archangels wings relaxed and spread out ever so slightly when Adam touched them. Meanwhile it took Michael a moment to mark the book in his page and turn his attention towards his human. “Is something wrong? You’re usually a bit more... handsy than that.” Tilting his head to the side he gave Adam a concerned look even as the wing that had been disturbed pressed up, into Adams hand on its own accord.

‘ do you remember? ’

          For days Sam had been doing his best to keep the truth from Dean.  There was too much on his older brother’s mind and over the years he’d caused too much trouble.  Seeing Lucifer out of the corner of his eyes was something he could and would deal with on his own.

              But, this?

          He hadn’t anticipated seeing Adam.  Assuming this was fake.  Pressing down on the cut on his hand wasn’t having any affect like it had with Lucifer.  Maybe the effect was wearing off.  Or maybe Adam’s body had been pulled out with his.  

          Eyes screw shut.  Sam presses his palms against the sockets as roughly as he could to see if the pain would help him focus.  When he blinked and discovered Adam still standing there he felt his shoulders sag.

           “ Yeah, “ Sam licks over his dry lips and nods.  Shaking fingers comb through his hair.  “ Not all of it.  Kinda have it trickling in right now.  You? “
