A lot had happened in the life of Jake Bennett since the night of the gala. There was to much drama for him to handle which is why he stayed low for a few. He spent most of his time at home with Charlotte whenever she was over or at work when she wasn’t. However, with everything quieting down, Jake was in need of a boys night. Charlotte was with Ally which gave him the perfect reason to head over to Adam’s. With a case of beer in hand Jake knocked on the door and awaited for an answer.

Jake had finally settled into Montreal and he already had a few interactions with familiar faces. There was one face that he hadn’t yet seen and that was Adam. He was the main reason why he came to this city three years ago which had changed his life completely. Ever since meeting overseas the two formed an instant connection sharing similar backgrounds and interests. Jake often considered Adam to be one of his best friends and the two have not seen each other in almost a year. They both suffered life threatening injuries that resulted in discharges. Thankfully, they both survived and recovered enough to be sent home. After finding time in their schedules they decided to meet at one of the quieter bars for a few drinks and a conversation. Jake already had two beers waiting at the bat for when Adam would arrive. In the meantime, he waited and scanned the room for any signs of danger as he often used to overseas.

Exploring || Anna + Adam

Anna wandered through the halls, looking around corners and occasionally just cutting through a wall. She didn't normally like to mess with the guests around here. Instead, she kept to herself. She'd been here for nearly a hundred years, yet, she hadn't made many friends. She spent most of her time trying to cope and mourning. She lived in the past, even though that pained her even more so. She knew that she should try to put it behind her and move on, but she had such a wonderful life.

She thought back to when she was married with a child. Then, her husband died in a mining accident and it was only her and her baby boy. He was the one thing in her life that she cared about the most, and it was taken from her faster than she could blink. She hates not knowing what exactly happened to him, but she knew he couldn't have survived the fire. Not with it being that bad. The floor collapsing, causing her to suffocate and burn under the rubble. Sometimes she wishes that she had of moved on and left this place. It's hard for her to think of it as a second opportunity when she doesn't try to meet anyone and she's haunted every single day by her past. 

She was delighted when a nice boy she had just met said he'd explore with her. As weird as it was, she had not really done so yet. It was extremely strange, she'd been here for what seemed to be ages, but she never had the motivation. She waited and chewed on her lower lip, waiting for him so they could began. She was actually looking forward to spending time with someone and sort of living a little.

First Date || Adam&Isabelle(w/Jason&Faith?)

Isabelle practically skipped home after seeing Adam. She was so excited to finally be going on the date they had been talking about. She couldn't believe she'd never noticed the sweet, cute guy that Rosie always hung out with. He was perfect. But before she could go on a date with him, he had to make it through meeting her dad and getting his approval. When she got in the house it was pretty quiet. Her mom had been busy lately looking into getting a job and she got a text from Rosalie earlier that she was going to work with their dad to see about practicing the song for her mom in a real recording studio. She hurried upstairs to change into a white body suit paired with a pink lacy skirt with a black belt lacy shoes and a barely visible black headband with a small black bow on it. As she was finishing putting her makeup on, she heard Rosalie and her dad come home. She got a little nervous as she looked at the time and saw that Adam would be arriving soon. Rosie came upstairs and Isabelle told her about what happened with Adam and heard about how she and their dad had an awesome time in the studio. After they celebrated and jumped around for a little while, Isabelle made her way downstairs to tell her dad about Adam coming over for their date. 

When she saw her dad standing in the kitchen, she could tell he was in a good mood which made her relieved. She made her way over to her dad, "Hey Daddy! So, you finally heard Rosie sing, huh?" 

Jason looked up at her noticing that she was more dressed up than usual, "I did. Izzy, why didn't you tell me your sister had such an amazing voice?"

Isabelle smiled and shrugged, "She swore me to secrecy. It wasn't my talent to share, but I've been telling her for years that she ought to sing for you guys."

Jason nodded, "You're a good sister. Now, why are you so dressed up?"

Isabelle bit her bottom lip and looked down at her shoes, "Well, you know how I mentioned that Adam asked me out? Well, um, I saw him today and he invited me to go out with him tonight. But I know that you wanted to talk to him first, so he's coming here and should be here in about five minutes..." 

Jason could tell from her tone that she was nervous and Jason just grinned at her, "It's okay, sweetheart. I look forward to really meeting him."
