~Adam vs. ISEB: An Ignis Scientia Charity Stream~
Remember when I used to panic at the thought of Adam Croasdell finding out about this blog, or worse—discovering the existence of my smutty Iggy novella? ಥ‿ಥ Times have clearly changed, because in case you missed my last post, I’ve somehow managed to rope the very same Adam Croasdell into participating in an Ignis-centric charity stream with me on February 29th, 2020. More specific information will follow in the coming weeks, but this post will hopefully serve to fill you in on some of the basics.
Who is Adam Croasdell? And who is ISEB? Adam Croasdell is the English voice actor for Ignis Scientia, and has also had recurring roles on such television series as Reign, Preacher, and NCIS. ISEB is... well, if you’re following me here, you probably already know who I am lol.
What is Adam vs. ISEB? Adam vs. ISEB is a charity stream dedicated to celebrating all things Ignis Scientia while raising money for a good cause. Adam will bring his professional experience voicing the character, while ISEB will provide commentary from a fan perspective—potentially with comical results!
When will the stream commence? Adam vs. ISEB is scheduled for February 29th, 2020. Start time is subject to change, but is currently scheduled to begin at 1:00PM Pacific Standard Time.
Where will the stream take place? Viewers will be able to watch the stream directly on ISEB’s Twitch account, http://twitch.tv/i_s_e_b. Viewers will also be able to watch it through the donation platform Tiltify: https://tiltify.com/@i_s_e_b/adam-vs-iseb
Why are you raising money? Adam is extremely passionate about global climate issues and wildlife conservation, and our mission for this stream is to bring attention to urgent affairs affected by climate change—most notably, the devastating wildfires that have burned more than 12 million acres across Australia in recent months. At the moment, our itinerary of what we will be streaming is still being finalized, but rest assured the entire stream will revolve around the celebration of everyone’s favorite strategist. Besides playing Final Fantasy XV, the goal is to break up the stream into three separate facets: Reward Incentives, Donation Milestones, and Audience Participation.
Reward Incentives: Any donation deserves a huge pat on the back, but especially large donations warrant a little extra thanks. As such, donors will have the option of selecting from a list of available reward items in exchange for exceptional donations. Many of these items will be signed by Adam himself, and all donations—incentivized or not—will go directly to GlobalGiving.
Donation Milestones: Even if donors can only pitch in a few bucks, together they can move mountains! Or in this instance, make Adam and ISEB their pawns in an increasingly silly game of Simon Says. Maybe you want to see Adam attempt to land the Regalia Type-F, or watch ISEB squirm as she reads an excerpt of her steamy Ignis fanfic live on stream—if viewers can put enough donations together to collectively meet those milestones, Adam and ISEB will rise to the occasion. The higher the stakes, the greater the reward! (Reward Incentives and Donation Milestones will be announced at a later date and are subject to change.)
Audience Participation: In addition to the live chatroom (open to anyone with a Twitch account), viewers can submit questions prior to the event for Adam to answer during the stream. Depending on the number of questions submitted, Adam may or may not be able to answer every question he receives. Don’t let that stop you from asking, however—this is a good opportunity to make your voice heard!
To submit a question for Adam, follow the link to the Google Form listed below. Feel free to respond to any or all of the questions listed, but please only ask Adam one question per form. (This will make formatting the questions for the stream much easier.) If you have multiple questions you’d like to ask Adam, you are welcome to fill out the form and submit it as many times as you like. How long the form will stay open depends on the number of responses we receive, but it will be closed no earlier than Wednesday, February 19th. That means you have at least one week to get all your burning questions submitted!
