In the Spring of 1823, Princess Eugenia of Amoria married Sir Jasper Chasteller, a Captain in the Amorian military.
The two lovebirds met at a ball held at Rosenborg Palace through Lord Beckett of Rosen, the Princess's cousin, who was close comrades with Sir Jasper in the military.
Despite their major differences in not only status, but also background— the two fell for one another. Even when Princess Eugenia was set to marry someone else by her mother, Crown Princess Alexandrina. Princess Eugenia refused and begged her very ill grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, to give her blessing for her to marry the only man she could ever imagine being with.
Thankfully, Queen Elizabeth gave Princess Eugenia her blessing as she wished to see her dear granddaughter marry for love and be happy.
