“No, don’t do that it’s not safe.”
Wendy, who had been balancing on the ship´s rail, glanced down at where Hook was standing and talking to her. She stopped then, shrugging her shoulders. “Everything you do here, every STEP you take, every WORD you say, is dangerous. That´s just how things work in Neverland…”
“Of course it is, but that doesn’t mean you should be courting danger either. Have some common sense, lass, and get off that rail if you value your damned neck.”

Emma’s eyes snapped up when she felt someone’s presence, and the solemn expression quickly wiped itself off her face when she put on a smile. Getting lost in her own thoughts was a thing that was happening far too often lately; and Emma’s thoughts were filled with things she’d rather forget.
“Wendy--- Hi.” The sweetness behind her voice, though, that didn’t need any effort. Emma held nothing but fondness for Wendy. “Long time no see. Did you need something?”

Wendy listened to his words for a moment, glancing up at him. “Well…and yet, here we are.” she then eventually responded, lips curling into a soft smile. It hadn´t changed during all those years, though one might think that what she had seen would have turned her smile into stone.
She shook her head and then took a step closer, eyes meeting with Peter´s fully now. “Maybe that teaches us that we should listen to our heart more often, instead of relying on what our minds are trying to tell us.”
he watched her, closely, with a golden halo that framed her face, still with pink lips that curled into a smile. the temptation to run his finger along the lace of her clothing, and the soft skin of her arms, to confirm this was real was THERE ---but of course he didn’t dare. if she was an apparition, she would disappear. and he didn’t want that, not yet.
upon her words, he couldn’t help but snort. leave it to her to say such dreamy things. “the heart doesn’t talk though,” he murmured, flatly. “don’t be silly.”
