hoooooo boy hahahaha kaidan and kids okay WELL for starters for the longest time kaidan was kind of on the fence abt having kids like ??? part of him rly wanted to have a kid and part of him was content to not have any if he had a partner who didn’t want any (bc tbh at the end of the day he just wants his partner to be happy) and part of him was terrified of being a parent anyway like he knows he can rise to the occasion and he doesn’t give himself enough credit tbh bc he’d be a GREAT dad but he’s just nervous abt the whole thing 

he has a goddaughter named sofia (she’s one of his cousins’ daughter) and she calls him tio or uncle kaidan and he treats her like she’s his own kid tbqh he loves when he gets to babysit her after the war.  he likes going on day trips with her and he tries to influence her w his own taste in music and he likes just being a total goof bc it makes her laugh like hahahah shit.  she loves seeing him do tricks with his biotics too which makes him so happy bc the last thing he’d want is to scare her.  he also lowkey spoils the crap out of her too sometimes lmfaooo.
