Mother you don’t understand; I made Hades run to me. He saw my bones underneath And offered me half his kingdom. Do you really think I ate the fruit unwillingly?

ZK Mythical Creatures Week Day 6: Greek Mythology
When I started thinking about mixing Zutara with a Greek myth for @zkmythicalcreaturesweek, I told myself I wanted to do something other than Persephone and Hades (I was intrigued by the idea of Hephaestus because he was disfigured by his parents and is the god of fire and metal working, but he and Aphrodite really didn’t have a happy marriage...). But then I suddenly had a strong mental image for Persephone/ Hades, so here we are. I pictured it in @dreadart’s slightly gothic style, so I tried my best to capture that. I don’t think I quite achieved it, but it was a fun exercise.
