aw, thank you so much! my personal is @everyone-needs-a-hoopoe. i have a couple of oc projects in the works that i’ll certainly be announcing there (and probably here) when there’s enough of them to blog about. they’ll be games!! gasp
my current hyperfixation is genshin impact, which i think is gonna last me a while. my blog for it is @samachurl if you’re interested. it’s just art there at the moment, but i do have an au idea for it that i might make a comic out of eventually.

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?
UUUUH Gold.
I’m not sure I really remember the details, this story stemmed from a title and then a vague concept. If I was making a character based on copper I might as well do one for silver and gold as well. After that I’m not sure how it all built its way up.
2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?
Sort of?? I knew I wanted a sort of medieval setting, though one that was far more forward in sciences and the like (kinda steam punk based) since alchemy could be used to create and invent. Also figured since he had such a major role under the king his armor would be wild. Fun fact tho, his accent is green because Cupric’s is blue and Argenta’s is red.
3. How did you choose their name?
Solum’s name is a combination of Sol (for sun) and Aurum which is the latin word for gold.
