I didn't use the Proto Spark until really late into the game (basically some way into the final dungeon actually) and the first time I saw it activate it felt. Unnerving?

The unicorn uses their horn to turn one’s best memories (falling in love, greatest achievements, happiest days) into golden clocks and watches. These are worth a fortune but are very delicate and feature detailed Art Nouveau-inspired ornaments. Once a memory takes the form of a clock, the person no longer has that memory. It's wiped and kept within the timepiece. They can sell the clock to gain a fortune, but they'll be stripped of their memories in the process. The happier the memory, the more expensive the clock. Each one takes a unique shape that references the specific events of the memory.
