Cas was happily minding his own business, reading slowly from a book of poetry. It was careful going, but he was enjoying the challenge and happy to have such an easy occupation. He was curled up on the couch under two blankets- it was a little chilly in the cabin today, even with the heat up- and perfectly content.

And then the door opened. Cas twisted around to blink, confused because he wasn’t expecting anyone at all. “H-Hello?”
