Kenaz (Enlightenment, knowledge, comprehension, insight, illumination, idea) is the flame or torch. As such, it represents the beacon of truth and finding your true north guided by your own shining light. It can indicate that that which was previously unknown may come to light, secrets may be spilled and you are on the right path of finding your true calling in life. It also means knowledge, creativity, inspiration, regeneration and energy. Reversed it can indicate that you lack vision, are stuck in a creative rut, false hope or instability.

Kenaz felt fitting for both Basim and Loki. Inside it, the word “حُب” (meaning love) appears darker twice, once from each of them. Perhaps it is love (or the lack of it) that led both Loki and Basim to where they are today. Around the piece, their names are written in Anglo-Saxon Futhark: Basim • Loki

This week, a light is shining on you and helping you see something you have either forgotten or haven't yet considered in a new light. In either case, what you discover in that light will help you live as your best and fullest self. Lean into what you learn and allow your own light to shine, as well as allowing that illuminating light to travel over other aspects of your life as it feels appropriate. (Depending on what you initially discover, you might need to shine that light on a few other things in order to get a clearer picture of how to utilize that discovery most effectively/appropriately in your life.) There may be an initial sting upon having this realization, in that you might feel a little stupid for having forgotten or not seen this before; but whether you feel that way or not, this isn't about how blind or forgetful you are/have been. Don't let that kind of feeling stop you from really alchemizing your discovery into something positive for yourself. This is ultimately a positive experience to help you live life a little freer.
