SO I used to have a tumblr, a few months ago, and it had a few followers, and it was oodles of poodles and noodles of fun, but it was sort of taking over my life......so I deleted my blog.

I originally started it as an art blog. I love drawing and designing and playing with color and stuff, but I wound up becoming a fandom blog, which was really fun, but it was supposed to be an art blog, and I actually kind of want to get back to that.

Soooooo....I'm here. I'm back. I'm making a blog. It's gonna have art. It's gonna have poetry. (Gasp! It's grown on me.) It might have playlists every now and then.

BUT IT'S A BLOG. And a tumblr. And I'm back, my beauties.

Yeah...I'm just not there. I don't feel ready at all, and I think that's okay. But some people do, so...props to them? (what does that even mean omg) and I am 20. Barely. Last month omg it's already been a month WHY

Yeah, it has to be for a good reason. Perks is fab, so yes, good plan. Twilight is not, so no bueno but hey it's your kid. Enna is from the Books of Bayern. She's probably one of my favorite characters EVER. So, yeah. I think Enna Marie would be cute

Other cute names I like: Adeline (obvs, because well look at the username) and Lillian. And I really want to name a boy Ammon, because all the Ammons I've met have been awesome. (Imagine: a little boy with dark curly hair asd;flkjasd;lkm)

Right? I know how you feel. If you're ready for that, that's cool, but that's not for me just yet. Everyone else is eternally at different stages of life. Which is cool, but also kind of terrifying.

Those names are really nice! I had a crush on a kid named Ammon my junior year of high school because he was the only kid who knew the bands on my binder during my pop punk phase.

SAME. Same. I know a girl who was born on the exact same day that I was who is engaged, and even though we have been alive for the exact same amount of time and probably have an equal amount of life experience, I couldn't see myself getting married with where I am in life right now. But if someone would like to engage in mutual facelicking with me that'd be really freaking great. (How old are you again? I'm 19. And a half almost.)

Yeah, none of this Harry Potter kid naming nonsense (although if anyone wants to do that I say go for it nevr giv up on ur dreams). Or all those people who named their kids Bella or Cullen or whatever when Twilight was popular, I wouldn't want to do that. It'd have to be from my favorite favorite book or movie or person to look up to. When I was way more Mormony one of my Young Womens' leaders was named Jordan after Jordan Baker from The Great Gatsby. One of my buddies told me he wants to have a son named Charlie because one of his favorite books is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. And I think I read that Zooey Deschanel was named after Franny & Zooey which I've been meaning to read but always forget about. What book series is Enna from again?

He's well past 6 feet on his own. I don't have an exact height but he's hella tall. I'm like 5"8 so I'd probably have to do tippy toes to get to his beard and that's not very intimidating. They can't call security on us if we're taller than everyone at the zoo ever, can they?

Well, as far as I can tell, other than his third cousin and what looks like a seal, I don't think he's really dated anybody. So that's a good sign. A really good sign. But, y'know, a year's a long time. As for actually knowing their third cousins...

I want to say they don't have any first (or even second) cousins really their age so they hung out with their third cousins a lot? Which is why it would be strange for him to date her, but it IS really distant, and if he hadn't seen her in YEARS...

You know, which he hadn't. Anyway. Yeah, I don't think it's THAT big of a deal--I think she was more offended that he tried to hide it from her than anything, but tried to blame it on the fact that it was their "cousin." And yes, Miri's a pretty name

Getting involved with kind-of-sort-of-but-not-really cousins? Seals? This boy of yours is really making me want to rewatch Arrested Development.

And that makes a lot more sense. Yeah, I don't think the distantly related thing is too big of a deal, but it is pretty lame that he felt like he had to cover it or whatever.

Same here! I'd maybe do a friend's name as a middle name, but not as a first name. I love the idea of naming kids after characters in books or people I think are iconic. Like if I ever had a daughter, Audrey is pretty high up there. I also really like simple classic names like Jane. And I'd definitely want to give someone Lux as a middle name because the book and movie of The Virgin Suicides have been such a big part of my life lately. Gotta keep all these girl names in mind in case I give birth to Lady Jesus sometime soon, ja feel?

We need to make a playlist together or something. Are you on Spotify?

Haha in like a year? She's on a mission, he's going to Provo...alas, unless he and I both stay single for that long, I fear it's not meant to be. xD (After all, we're both mormon.) The not-approval is 100% because she was pissed off at him the last 3

times I visited. It wasn't anything too serious--except it kind of was? It was a weird situation. Basically, he secretly dated a SUPER distant relative of theirs which is weird but technically not that bad when you think about it.

3 generations back or something. So, it's actually entirely her being protective of me because he was being stupid. Also on the list of people not allowed to date him because they're too good for him--my other best friend, Miri, who has also known

ELLEN I AM DYING THAT'S SO FANTASTIC IF YOU EVER DO THAT YOU HAVE TO TELL ME RIGHT AWAY OMG. oh. and best friend's brother...well. BASICALLY I've known them since I was five but they moved when I was ten (ish) and I didn't see him until--WAIT FOR IT

last summer. And he was just barely back from his mission and they all had just BARELY moved to Utah from Oregon (ah, places I want to go to are now making a lot more sense, aren't they?) and basically they were still moving in and HE WOULDN'T HELP.

which was annoying and bothered me a lot, because here I was, a guest, and even I was helping them move in. WELL ANYWAY. I decided I didn't like him and he was annoying and not very cute. Fast forward to Thanksgiving, and suddenly he was a lot nicer,

and more helpful, and LO AND BEHOLD we were both kinda flirty and bounced off each other's sarcasm and jokes and all of a sudden he was very cute and I realized his eyes are INCREDIBLY blue and...well, basically, he's my never-gonna-happen crush.

(Said best friend says I'm too good for him. I say distance is a problem.) But we have the same taste in movies and books and the same sense of humor and GOSH he's tall dark and handsome with gorgeous blue eyes. If he asked me out, I'd say yes.

AWWWW That's so cute! You need to flirt with him like crazy next time you see him. I wonder how much of his sister not giving her approval is from knowing him and how much is from being defensive of friends and sister-like figures. Like, apparently one of my older brother's friends had a crush on me, and he was never allowed to meet me ever because my brother was being protective. Even though nothing would've ever happened anyway because of the distance.

Is there any chance he'll end up on the same campus as you? Is he planning on going back to school? :)
