Home at last. What a year and a half...
Bobbi yawned and sat up in bed, she sighed and ran her hands in her hair. She swung her slender legs over the side of the bed and sighed. She was alone this morning and she stood up, her little skimpy pajamas falling around her torso as she walked across the floor to the kitchen. Trying to start her day.
[the reception]
He smiled and as Darcy finished, he added politely.
"I would just love to say, I am so happy...so so happy to see this day, Betty, you've been like a mother to me, and Tony, what can I say, without you, I wouldn't only not be here, but hey, you don't go to MIT at 16 for the hell of it man, that you both for setting an example for me to live by, thank you for both taking me into your lives, and here's to many, many years of prosperity for the Stark family." He raised his glass, "and I will drink to that, Mr. and Mrs. Stark." He then took a drink, "and now I'm going to leave before I die of embarrassment," to Darcy, smiling, waving, bowing to people on his way out, he paused and threw Tony the keys to the car he hand seen eariler, "In good health." he added.
(after the wedding)
Addi rushed to his car, throwing his tie in the back of BOSS as he sighed, peeling out severely fast. He cracked his neck, sweating bullets, "Brucey, call Bobbi." He knew he was driving at like 98mph but he was in Rhode Island...
addi came rushin in, carrying coffee and a beautiful chocolate dipped fruit basket, "betty! i'm sure your busy as hell, bring my late present... since it wouldnt keep."
T-T that is icky.... I support Loki/natty.. btw..
Beyond 'icky'...
Thank you. As do I.
Dinner at the lab
Bobbi called in the Chinese, asking for her favorite and orange chicken for Addi. And when the 15 minute wait was up, she got into her Purple Rabbit with the black door and started it up. The old engine revved and started up, and she backed out of the parking lot and started driving toward the restaurant.
Joking with the women in the place when she picked up the food, paying for it and then getting back into her car, starting to drive to Stark Tower. She wondered if she would be able to get in.
Walking into the lobby she walked up to the desk, "Uhm... hi... I'm here to bring dinner to someone in the Automotive department.. Addicus Rosewood," she nodded as the man talked confirming where automotive was. She thanked him and started walking in the direction.
"A-addi?" she called out, unsure of where she was going and hoping he could hear her.
He was nervous, and anxious, and honestly had a lot praying on his mind... he had no idea who to go to, who to talk to, or who to trust. Recent developements had further complicated things. He packed up all his components, and took BOSS aka Bruce to Tony's lab. He had gathered all the parts and concepts for his blood filter, as well as some papers he considered eating on the way there, too ashamed and concerned to say a word.
He thanked god for the auto-piloting of the car, because he just couldn't handle the fact he had held back so much, from so many people. He even convinced himself that he was the last person on the planet Anthony Stark would ever want to be in contact with, considering... But Betty had been so warm to him, it was like having his mother back, or that mother hen of a sister...he loved it.
He sighed, putting his glasses on his head, fingers tracing he new name tag, Romanoff instead of Rosewood. He finally arrived, nervous all the while, his back pack made him look like a turtle, and he carried a messenger bag as well.
He was determined, by the end of the night, to tell Tony everything...and he meant everything. Who he really was, why he was here, how Tony basically shaped him without knowing it, about Fury, about all these crazy things. He sighed, double checking his flask... it was full. Just in case.
