A brand new artwork for the series of "RWBY characters in Slavic folk costumes", sponsored by @carn-project.
Meet Blake in a Serbian costume! This is the traditional outfit of Šumadija, a central region of Serbia. I love how well this look suits Blake, especially in terms of the color scheme.
And I'm also really happy with how I managed to fit the thematic details (a.k.a. easter eggs) into the costume this time. A decorative version of Blake's emblem is embroidered on the vest, and belladonna flowers are on the apron, referring to her surname, of course 😉
I wonder if I can keep up these antics in future works, hehe~
