Will you?
After the long, musical drive back to Chestnut, Mateo was walking Addison home when he finally popped the question.

Addison has been focusing solely on her music and ranch, although she has gone to a few Cupid Corner's blind dates, they don't usually stick. So when she tried writing a love song at the request of Terrell for Neve, she just couldn't come up with anything. She tried for days, until Rohan noticed her motivation for music falling through.
Rohan: First and foremost, it's about having fun. Addison: I can't even write the most basic type of song known to man.
Rohan: Your first mistake is thinking it's basic. Come, let's pour out some frustration with music.
The pair jammed the place up together. Rohan hoped Addison would come to understand love a little better, but the way things happened with her parents, her first love, and all the little dates that didn't go well, he knew how much of a challenge that could prove to be for his bonus daughter.

Music and Wine
Back in Chestnut, Rohan is busy with his lab work, although he's strongly considering retirement, and Addison has been completely head over heels for Mateo and vice versa.
They've been spending a lot of time together since the wedding. Officially a couple, they spend most of their days working at the Elderberry ranch and writing music. Mateo has also gotten to use the nectar-making machines in the Elderberry's basement. Maybe they'll finally start something with it?

Addison: And then she blamed ME for it! Can you believe it?! Mateo: But even if you had told him, you still wouldn't be in the wrong here. You can't lie about this kind of stuff. Especially to the person you're about to marry! Addison: Point blank period.
Mateo: I'm sorry you lost a friend, though. Want any dessert? Lift the mood? Addison: I don't think I'm up for it... Mateo: They have custard pie. >.>
Addison: How do you already know me this well? Mateo: I pay attention, Fletcher.

"Don't blame yourself and don't ask why"
Addison sang while Mateo played the guitar; he learned the strings all the way up the hill and, to everyone's surprise, played it beautifully. Terrell arrived in the meantime and listened to the rest of the performance with Neve.
Terrell: Who's the guy? Are we asking for ransom? Neve: Terrell! Don't be silly.
Mateo: Hey, so that was decent writing. A bit morbid, but pretty. Want to give me your number for future duets? Addison: That was quite the elaboration to ask a girl in a bar for her number. Mateo: Gotta stand out. Addison: I'll see you around, Mateo.

The next morning looked beautiful. The sun was shining, the air felt clean, and Neve woke up with an incredible positive spirit. The bride looked around her room while her lifelong best friend, her sister, her sim of honour fixed up some details. Her entire childhood is here. She was born while they lived in the cabin, but this is where she learned to walk, talk, run, explore, play, ride. This home, this town. It felt so bittersweet to leave.
Neve: Terrell told me he wouldn't mind staying in Chestnut. What do you think I should do? Addison: You have to do what your heart tells you, Neve. And I think you already know the answer.
Neve: He's done so much for me, though. The least I can do is stay closer to his family. Addison: Like I said, you have to do what's best for you. And anyway, You'll always have a home here. You know that.
Neve: Yeah, I do. Thank you for a lifetime of friendship, Addi. I can't imagine life without you. Addison: We're a forever thing. Now, stand still, I need to fix this button.

Dawn: Do you girls remember when we made the rainbow brownies? Addison: How could I forget? I stuffed myself with mnm's until you had to take me to the hospital with a sick stomach. Good times.
Neve: There's a train in an hour and twenty minutes, should be more than enough to finish the brownies, right? Dawn: Neve... in the moment, please. Drop the phone.
Addison: Have you ever thought of selling baked goods for your retirement, mum? I think you'd do amazing.
Dawn: I don't plan to retire on sick animals, Addison. But you're free to use my recipes if you'd like to.
